Who does this? A hot pink dining room? For real? Yes! Wallpaper the walls in this unbelievable saturated print and cover these chairs with the raspberry and magenta geometric.
Choose this stunner of a table. Add her existing vintage walnut buffet, statement lamps and an extra large round mirror. Ground the mix with hot pink sisal carpet or even my old stand-by, Stark Natura. The jury is still out on the rug. Then, all she needs is a sparkly chandy and a martini, make that one of the pomegranate variety. Or some Campari…

ahhhh how amazing!! I need more details on this dining room… I can’t wait!!
When do we see pictures?
Wow! Wow! Wow! How cool
It will not be installed until AFTER a major renovation, so we are spec’ing and buying and waiting with excitement.
I guess she doesn’t have a husband to veto this.
Her husband is not thrilled, but he agreed to the pink if she agreed to a pot rack…
Ahh hahaa. Katie C beat me to it. My husband would rather live in squalor than sit on a pink chair.
I can only dream…
Pink is the new blue
I need an invite when it’s all finished! Pomegranate Martinis + hot pink room = the fixings for a good time!
SO fun! I’d like to go to this party!
Is this the same Atlanta house? Holy color story batman!
Katie,
This is sooo pretty! I can’t wait to see the finished product. You are so great with color, I with I had the guts to be as bold with hot pink…

Happy birthday Katie
I think it’ll be quite pretty but I think the dude should have held out for a little more than a lousy pot rack. I think he deserves a kegerator at least!
Steve, he is also getting taxidermy (a deer) mounted in the Family Room…does that up the anty?
That makes me feel better. He just got his balls back.
This from the guy who went crazy for a pink Christmas tree?!
Behave!
I love this inspiration board, hot pink IS the new blue. God bless this woman’s husband. I’m going to assume the tv room has a lazyboy, a fridge, and a 90″ television if this dining room looks like this
That is unless of course this a dining room for a man
such a yummy color scheme, I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
Doug wears pink all the time, and hot pink is different than pale baby pink or posy pink. It’s bold. It takes confidence for a man to wear hot pink, it’s preppy and fun.
Any man who shies away from pink is a woos in my mind!
Also, let’s take this one step further…
What about a woman who designs a room in chocolate or navy or grey. Is she masculine? Does she deserve a big fat diamond for allowing her husband to do a mahogany paneled room (gag…)?
It’s about time us girls put our stamp on something, and why not with pink?
It’s all about being open.
I did a little girls room last year and of course the walls are a strong pink. Interestingly, the client reported how many male friends and family commented how much they liked the color when they saw it. Now, if it was their own BR or DR, who knows, but it was interesting to hear.
